If there is no gravesite for your ancestor who was deported during the Nazi era or was forced into suicide you can haves a brass plaque set up. Many cities in Europe offer this service. Vienna's STONES OF REMEMBRANCE wish to keep the memory of murdered Jews that lived in Vienna before the Holocaust alive. Their culture and tradition was an important part of Viennese life and their huge impact is still visible today.
